General Conditions of Sale

$5.00 minimum handling charge on orders under $100.00
5% minimum handling charge on orders above $100.00
No handling charge on orders over $5000.00 excluding discount and tax.

ORDERING:
  • All invoices, shipping agreements, and credit card authorization forms will be faxed directly to the customer for their approval. Once approved and returned to Pearlworks, the order will then be processed.
  • Due to constant product research and development, all product pricing and part numbers may change without notice. The customer must review all part numbers, descriptions, and prices before approval.
  • When ordering moulding, please allow 20% additional footage for pattern repeat. All radius-moulding orders will require a template with your order.
  • All cancellations of orders that are in production will be subject to a service fee of $25.00, or 5% of the total order (whichever is greater).
  • Freight and handling charges on orders refused by the consignee will be charged to the buyer.
TERMS:
  • Prepaid. No C.O.D.s
  • 50% deposit on all orders with the balance due before shipping.
  • Custom and special orders must be prepaid in full.
  • All labor charges on custom pieces must be prepaid in full.
  • All labor charges for completed custom work is non-refundable.
  • All checks may be subject to a 7-day clearing period before product will be shipped.
SHIPPING:
  • If your order is in stock, it typically ships within 2-4 bussines days after your final approval. Large orders will take longer.
  • Orders are shipped via UPS ground or common carrier, depending on size and weight. Please specify if priority shipping is desired.
  • Requests for shipping cost cannot be accommodated until order is actually packaged.
  • "Same Day Shipping" requests for priority shipments will be assessed a 25% surcharge. The request must be approved by the customer in writing by 11:00 AM Pacific Standard Time.
RETURNS:
  • Returns will be accepted up until 180 days of delivery date.
  • All returns must be approved by Pearlworks. We will issue a RMA return merchandise Authorization Number to you. This number must be clearly written on the returning box or it will be refused.
  • All returns must be in saleable condition.
  • All shipping cost on returned products are the responsibility of the customer.
  • All returns are subject to a restocking fee as per our restock fee schedule.
    10% after 1-30 days 20% after 31-60 days 30% after 61-90 days 50% after 91-180 days.
WARRANTY:
  • If after careful inspection of your Pearlworks components, you feel there is a defect that renders a part unusable, please notify us in writing within 48 hours of receiving your delivery.
  • Finishing or installing a component infers that you have accepted same and nullifies any warranty claim.
  • Pearlworks liability shall not exceed the replacement cost of the defective part only, including shipping and handling.
  • All wood mouldings must be maintained under stable humidity and temperature conditions for any warranty to apply.
  • When using Pearlworks products (wood or resin) in exterior application, failure to properly caulk, sean and maintain finish will void warranty.
  • All flexible mouldings will split or crack if bent beyond our specified minimum radius limits.

    All sizes of parts in catalog are approximate. Example: if you are building columns to go with either of our bases or plinth blocks, it is mandatory that you buy samples of these parts Before you make any of the columns. All resin ornamentation will vary slightly in size due to the nature of the curing process of resin. Please note that all matching corner elements fit very closely, but are not exact. Please make sure all parts work before placing your order.

    Because of the delicate nature of many of our products, we can not guarantee that they will arrive without a break or crack. Many factors such as extremely cold weather, physical shock to a package, etc. may cause a crack or a “clean break” in the thinner areas of many of our components. Typically resin breaks smoothly and can easily be joined together with no visible seam apparent in the finished product. Cracked material can also be easily re-attached. Components that may experience a crack or break in transit include any part that is less than 1⁄2” thick at the thinnest point and any all-resin moulding.
